A Brand new beginning..of another 365 days..of my life on Earth..
opening a new chapter of my life story!!

I had spent my new year eve with my buddy cousin, SzeL in an unusual way..
@ a super wacky place..with splashing fun & excitement as well as a short exercising regimen of swimming laps b4 all tis fun..Tata..

haha..i can imagine..tat look on whoever's readin tis..thought where it has been..just a swimming cplx only..no big deal..thought wat!

But at least 2 me..it's an atypical way of spending my new year eve @ Jurong East Swim Cplx & then my 2nd home @ ntu, nie..as compared to past yrs..when it had either been @ orchard or suntec..squeezing thru the crowd..with frenz..window-shoppin..chattin..etc..Quite sick of it oredi..been wantin a change since ..when..i dun noe..but certainly..been quite a while..

Of course..I enjoyed myself very much this new yr eve..Shiok, man! cos i simply love the feeling of being in the water..the ocean ..( must be those clean, clear emerald one lah..obviously..not those murky..arrggh..filthy river, etc).

Due to the stupid monsoon season, heavy rain came & went..really disrupted our plan..of having a fun time@ pool, go back 2 hall 15 2 get my stuff followed by a shoppin spree @ Spore Expo, Metro Sale, lastly..movie screening of LOTR @ TM..then home sweet home..However,due 2 time factor, we didn't get 2 go shop & watch LOTR eventually. Sianz.

Nonetheless, I Enjoyed the rides very much..those..blue, pink & yellow winding tubes stretching over a few storeys high..or wat u call that..aiyah..didn't take note of their name.. the Jacuzzi pool's gd!..but then..the water's freezing cold leh..not tat typical warm/hot one that i've been 2 b4.. Hmm..is it due 2 the intermittent rain..or the swimmin cplx..trying 2 fool us as if we r so ignorant..haha..i doubt so about the latter ..

Honestly..with so many rides, facilities..added 2 an otherwise usual public swimming pool @ such an affordable fee of adult @ $1.50..child@ $0.80..on wkdays..if i rem correctly..how gd the jacuzzi pool can u expect..at least the water's moving in strong currents around your body.. haha..so i guess..just the cheap form of jacuzzi ..4 common people bah..
not tat posh..high class ones..we c on tv..

The final highlight was the wave pool..Woo! the wave stimulation's so real!Seems as if we are indeed in the open sea..( hehe..if u bother 2 imagine abit more..close ur eyes & picture..the scenario..) but then..i didn't really enjoy myself much..cos as the waves got bigger..rougher...as the ripples increased..while i watched on ..from my comfortable sitting position on tat super cute pinkish 42" float.. my heart sank & i lost the mood 2 stay on @ that pool.. told szel abt it..so i left the pool & sat on just 2 watch the kids playing away..as my mind..wandered to all those sad, earth-wrenching stories of family finding their missing loved ones..swept away by the tidal waves..

( haiz..it reminds me of the tragic tsunamis disaster..& the devastation 2 humankind & beaches..over just tat fateful morning..) But then..since i promise 2 accompany my cousin..it would b really rude of me 2 leave abruptly while she was having such great time.. Soon i regained my composure and stayed on..& tried out other rides..
The damage can never be undone..lives were lost..this cruel fact..is here to remain..& there's no turning back since then.. Guess..what i can do much now..is like wat my dad says..donate generously 2 the relief aid funds.. the most practical way of helping..the victims..

After all, life goes on, life & death is part & parcel of evolution and that such tragedy..indeed serves a reminder 4 us to treasure our life..cos being alive is a blessing oredi..
