The Purpose of Life is Joy.
The Basis of Life is Freedom.
The Way of Life is Expansion.
This was what my guru friend, Eug shared with me one fine day when I was encroached in the cave of self-pity and despair. I still remember it vividly as a constant reminder for my daily work n challenges ahead.
Just a couple of days ago, last Saturday evening,
due to my mis-management of time yet again and God's will for me to rekindle my interest in work?, we missed out watching the comedy,
Ramen Girl and ended up watching this inspiring Jap movie " Dive" instead since we were meeting at Cineleisure Orchard for dinner anyway.
My rating of the show is 3-4 Stars of 5.. haha..due to the eye-candy..those cute young boys with their impressive dives..haha.. It also struck a chord in me as some of their training scenes just reminded me of those good old db training n gym time @ ntu.. Ironically, i do miss those disciplined n stringent training days..
Some information of the movie! Dive!
Adapted from:
http://www.variety.com/review/VE1117937369.html?categoryid=31&cs=1A trio of Japanese teenagers get their shot at Olympic glory in "Dive!!," an earnest, overlong sports meller that nonetheless earns high marks for its sharp lensing of young divers in action, as well as the gratifying degree of sympathy helmer Naoto Kumazawa extends to each of the three contenders. Shrewdly positioned to capitalize on pre-Summer Olympics mania upon its June 14 local release, this sometimes awkward but affectingly sentimental item could find its niche, though casual (if strictly platonic) rear nudity could hold back the younger auds toward which the film is otherwise geared.
Adapted by Masashi Todayama and Tamio Hayashi from a novel by Eto Mori, "Dive!!" kicks off, in classic (or cliche) sports-movie fashion, with the Mizuki Diving Club in dire financial straits. Enter the beautiful Coach Asaki (Asaka Seto), who's determined to whip her young charges into shape and possibly yield a champ who can represent Japan at the upcoming Olympic Games in Beijing -- and, perhaps, save MDC from imminent closure.
